Dr. Drees hails from Northwest Iowa and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Political Science from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. After graduating Cum Laude a year early, he attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA, received his his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Dr. Nate gained useful clinical experiences during two mission trips to Haiti, as well as Rehabilitation, Sports Outreach, and a U.S. Olympic Trial internships during his time at Palmer.
Additionally, Dr. Nate was a teaching assistant at Palmer in the Diagnostic and Radiology department and took a special interest in both Active Care Rehabilitation classes, and Neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis. The pragmatic, evidence-based approach lead him to a variety of post graduate education including McKenzie Method, Graston Technique, Active Release Technique (Full Body Certified, Long Tract Nerve Entrapment Certified), Functional Movement Systems (FMS) and Dry Needling. After a few years practicing in southeast Wisconsin and Chicago, Dr. Nate returned to WI to help open, grow, and operate three franchise chiropractic clinics. He loved the low cost model, the easy access to care, however he knew patients needed active rehabilitation to maintain their pain free lifestyle, so he partnered up with Dr. Logan at PPCR in Sun Prairie to provide just that.
Dr. Nate and his wife Megen, eloped in October 2020, and are excited to continue to explore the outdoor recreation and restaurants that Madison has to offer. You rarely will see Dr. Nate and Megen without their dog, Nash, who seems to get tickets to every couple adventure! Dr. Nate is an avid baseball and basketball fan and though he has a “baseball swing,” he loves a casual round of golf.
